Lottie's

Located at bottom end of West Street away from the busy hustle and the bucket of milk contingent of West Street - it is a very friendly place and an ideal to pop in for a quick espresso or take out and/or to meet up with friends for an hour.

The interior is new / fresh and very nicely finished – no expense spared – with a predominantly light airy atmosphere, with a row of dark wooden tables running between the wooded topped counter and glass cake display and joining wall – there is a big padded booth that the far end which is a great place to sit back and watch / work. The frontage has large old 1920’s windows given over to more relaxed seating. It’s busy without ever being crowded and coffee lovers are coming and going – there are a couple of good baristas working most of the time pulling the usual range of espresso-based drinks with double shots as standard in one size 10oz cups - which is great to see and no sight of a bucket of milk.

Espressos are pulled up short using 18g of Coffee Real 6am. (our most popular online espresso blend) The espresso is pulled into classic tulip cups, same as the lattes and cappuccinos – no 1980’s latte glasses here – just how it should be. The only glass used for coffee is a 7oz for Flats which are served nice flat with a touch of micro-foam. All that said the team here are new to coffee and are progressing very well and in the next few weeks they will be pouring off single estates which will be great for the town and somewhat progressive for Horsham I would say…
