Urban Kitchen
Steve Emerson, Director of Urban Kitchen says - “We have teamed up with Coffee Real because, quite simply, they give us the best ingredients for our business. Their care, attention to detail and their tremendous passion for roasting great coffee, meticulously selected in person from some of the best coffee growing regions in the world helps us to deliver the perfect cup of coffee to our customers. We can also be personally assured that the coffee grower receives premium prices, ensuring sustainable livelihoods for the farmers and their families.”
Coffee Real say - the hottest and coolest coffee drama in Reigate today has to be Urban Kitchen. Nothing comes close.
Based at locations 7 Church Street and the Priory Park Pavilion and now the newest development is its stunning new café called The Urban Kitchen Coffee Shop which is above the Church Street venue and now the Funky Kiosk at Reigate Hill.
The Urban Kitchen Coffee Shop is an airy, contemporary high-ceiling space endorsed and enclosed by tall Victorian windows which look down onto the hustle and bustle of Church Street itself.
Here you can get fabulous espresso-based drinks - crafted from our hand blended espresso beans and pour over drip coffees brewed from our single estate range - which change on a regular basis.
For the latter, you choose a type of cofffee from those on offer, the coffee is weighed out to order, dropped into a paper filter on a drip station, and filtered water is heated and poured over in a timely manor until brewed. You can watch the brewing method or the brewed coffee is brought to your table.
The combination of artisan hand roasted coffee, meticulously made coffee drinks, and a pioneering location, makes The Urban Kitchen Coffee Shop the iconic coffee house in Reigate - well worth the trip.
Espresso blends are: Gone for Lunch (roasted a little differently for the Urban Kitchen Crew) and our Decaf espresso Salvation. Single estates continually change and feature no less than 5.
