Without question the roasting process is an art and can make the difference between inspired perfection in the cup and the compost bin in matter of seconds.

To achieve perfection our beans are roasted in small batches of around 12kg (26lbs) using direct flame cast iron Probat coffee roasters, but it is the skill of the Roaster Master (aka the wizard) who guides each batch through shifting degrees of heat to unlock the natural sugars and tantalizing flavours until the transformation is complete - premeditated artistry if you like.

As coffee roasters it is our role to preserve the coffees’ integrity and deliver its full potential.
